Today though many brides choose their favorite color- pink, red, fuchsia, burgundy, plum, mauve, purple, or blue. But before you choose a color take a look in magazines and on wedding website blogs, and websites. You may find inspiration for a whole new way to design your Bridesmaid Dresses.

Do not forget to consider how the colors of the bridesmaid dresses will look once its put together with other items like your wedding decor.

Wedding Dresses with a Touch of Color~

A fun trend is to add a touch of complimentary color to the bride’s wedding gown. This can be simple, by adding a sprinkle of color to the embroidery of the dress, or adding color to the veils.

Test Wedding Color Combinations~

Don’t be afraid to match unusual colors before making your choice. Choose colors that complement your hair and skin tone. You’ll want colors that make you look wonderful on your wedding day. If you look great in baby blue, then you’ll probably look fantastic amidst baby blue and white decor and blue bridesmaid dresses. Maybe you can even add some blue embroidery colors to your wedding gown. Whatever color is your favorite, should work fine for the wedding.

Theme your food around your wedding colors~

You could tint your cake to match your bridesmaid dresses. An example would be a blue and white wedding. Chocolate Fountains are also a great choice, the white chocolate can be tinted in any color you would like. Other items that are easy to tint or find in many colors are; cupcakes, cookies, and even fruit. Think out of the box and get creative. Just remember to blend your favorite colors with complimentary colors as well. You do not want to over do just one color. Whites and blacks are always great colors that will complement any color you choose to theme your wedding around.

Things to consider before choosing your wedding colors should include the colors of the church or building where the wedding will be held, the reception hall, the types of flowers available for that time of year.
